My First Feature As A Travel Influencer

I was recently featured as a travel influencer on Essence.com as one of the 9 travel influencers to follow. Now if you have kept up with my travel blogs then you know I have been traveling for a while but I just started taking being a travel influencer seriously back in January of this year.

I would consider myself a travel and entertainment influencer and I have intentionally curated all my platforms to display what kind of influencer I am while making  sure  I’m not all over the place. When you want to be an influencer of different things you definitely have to be more intentional and careful with your content. Because you never want people to be confused of what you do when they come to your page especially if you’re trying to work with brands.

So to be acknowledged by Essence’s just more assured me that I what I’m doing is working and people are enjoying my content.

I think when you’re trying to curate a certain aesthetic on your page, it helps by following other people in your lane of what you’re trying to do. It helps with inspiration, motivation and you make connections with them eventually by interacting with them as well.

So don’t be shy, make sure you’re interacting with other travel influencers and also the travel pages. That always helps with getting your content reposted and other eye on your page. It’s social media so be social, lol.
